OOTD: summer 16 edition {part 4}

IMG_5472

Hey everyone!!

I think I’m finally emerging from the funk I’ve been in for the past few days. I think a large part of this stemmed from having cleaned my room… as silly as that may sound (I know, my life is so exciting). It’s been terribly rainy and gloomy lately, but that won’t stop me and my OOTDs! I actually was super proud of myself for putting on actual clothes… Most of my summer has been spent in workout gear since that’s all I’ve been doing/had the motivation to put on my body.

I suppose I don’t have much to say as far as life updates/word-fluff goes. Not too much has been going on… I’ve become a little bit too pensive and reflective with all this free time. To be honest, this is never a good thing so I’ve been frantic to find things to occupy myself.

I hope you all enjoy this outfit. It was like 75ºF and rainy but I wasn’t feeling a rain jacket nor waterproof boots. I actually had a  vintage suede crop top on initially but it felt too Western for Minnesota… and also kind of clashes with the rain. So I threw on this top instead, and I loved the way it looked with the skirt. Then I picked out the shoes since the hardware matched the buttons on the skirt. Next came the belt. This belt was picked simply because the color of the leather matched the clogs the closest but I ended up loving the look.

Make sure to follow me (blog, vsco, insta) for more outfits and to leave comments!
